A WOMAN was arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs after a car was stopped and searched.
The woman was detained on Esonwood Road, Whiston after a vehicle was pulled over by police on Saturday night.
Drugs were recovered from inside the centre console of the car following a search by officers.
A 32-year-old woman from Kirkby was arrested in connection with the supply of Class A and B drugs.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: Officers later searched a property on James Holt Avenue, Westvale as part of the investigation were further drugs were seized.
“Officers are continuing to investigate.”
