NOVEMBER is a tough old month to get through the best of times, but this year's is going to throw a few more hurdles in the way as we collectively battle Covid.
To try and raise a smile each day for the month we will throw up a random picture of a Great Saint - and tag on the end a little puzzler.
And today who better for number 1 than Mr St Helens himself, Paul Wellens.
During a career spanning nearly 500 club appearances, the international full back collected five Grand Final winners rings, five Challenge Cup winners medals and a couple of World Club Challenge wins.
Individually he won the lot, Steve Prescott Man of Steel, Harry Sunderland Award and the Lance Todd twice (including a shared year).
Here is Wello, being captured going over for a try by Bernard Platt. But who knows the reason behind the white vee on red in this attractive kit?
