A MAN who had a black-handled carving knife in his possession is to be sentenced.
Richard Thompson, of Fidler Street, Toll Bar had indicated a guilty plea at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court to possession of a bladed article at an earlier hearing.
He had a black-handled carving knife on his person in Liverpool on April 24 this year.
Thompson, 35, was due to appear at the court on October 12.

The case was adjourned with a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
He will appear back at the court on Tuesday, November 3 for sentencing.
Thompson was granted unconditional bail until then.
