HALLOWE'EN may feel a little different this year due to Covid-19 restrictions, but MD Creatives is making sure the scariest night of the year doesn’t go unnoticed.

Usually the busiest time in MD’s annual calendar, the academy has created an exclusive new film called Hallowe'en on Barrow Street, which viewers can watch online this weekend (October 30 and 31 at 7pm) in the comfort of their own homes.

Hallowe'en on Barrow Street will showcase the talents and passions of the Creatives, who have spent the last few weeks creating a spine-tingling production of music, dance and storytelling - while adhering to social distancing guidelines!

Miguel Doforo, creative director and founder of MD Creatives, said: “We have become renowned for our Hallowe'en productions over the years, but of course, the pandemic and the latest restrictions in the city region have made it impossible for us to do the kind of things we normally do.

"But we were not going to let that stop us and have adapted by taking our celebrations online this year.

“Every single one of the Creatives have thrown themselves into this production, from the music to the videography, to create something really special.

"We have even unearthed some hidden talents during the process, which is fantastic. I am incredibly proud of what they have all achieved in such a difficult circumstance.

“We might not be able to venture out this Halloween, but hopefully our virtual spooky production will fill a gap!”

The film is sponsored by OD’s Designer Clothing and will be screened on both MD Creatives and St Helens Council’s websites and social media channels.
