STUDENTS from the Warrington Youth Rowing programme have been sent some words of encouragement by an icon of the sport.
Sir Steve Redgrave, who won five Olympic gold medals for Great Britain between 1984 and 2000, recorded a video message for those involved in the programme, including head coach Richard Sinnott.

Warrington Youth Rowing is an initiative designed to introduce young people to the sport having partnered with several high schools around the town.
