THE Challenge Cup Final did not how former Warrington Wolves stand-off Kevin Brown wanted it to yesterday.
The England international was in the Salford Red Devils side narrowly beaten 17-16 by Leeds Rhinos at Wembley.
However, the 36-year-old made a little bit of history even in defeat.
🤝 Despite defeat, @KevJonBrown set the all-time @Coral #ChallengeCup record having now played in Finals 1⃣6⃣ years apart...

Unfortunately, though, Brown continued his unwanted record of being on the losing side in each of the four Challenge Cup Finals he has played in.
Two of them involved The Wire - he played for Steve Price's side in the loss to Catalans Dragons in 2018 and was in the Huddersfield team that lost to Warrington in the 2009 showpiece.
