A WOMAN has been charged with being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle and assault of an emergency worker.
Officers attended a report just after 5am on Thursday, October 15 of a silver Ford Mondeo being abandoned in the road with its lights on.
On attendance, police noted a woman was seen trying to start the car.
A suspect was detained at the scene and taken into custody, where a detention officer was allegedly pushed by the suspect, sustaining minor injuries.

Katarzyna Opozda, 40, of Egerton Road, Prescot was charged with being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle and assaulting an emergency worker.
She has been released on bail and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on February 23, 2021.
