A MAN in his 70s has been taken to hospital with a leg and arm injury after he was kncoked down on Derbyshire Hill Road.
Police were called to near the Horseshoe Garage on Derbyshire Hill Road at around 2.55pm today, Friday, October 16, following reports of a collision involving a grey Vauxhall Astra and a pedestrian.
Emergency services are in attendance and the pedestrian, a man in his 70s will be taken to hospital for assessment of a leg and arm injury.
His condition is not believe to be life threatening at this stage.
The driver stopped at the scene and road closures are currently in place.
