DEVELOPERS have confirmed their plans for the remainder of the Winnington Business Park site – with up to 48 new business, industrial or warehouse units.

Cheshire West and Chester Council has already granted outline planning permission for redevelopment of the land, and the authority gave the green light for 124 homes to be built on part of it earlier this month.

FI Real Estate Management has previously announced its intention to build more than 120,000sq ft of industrial buildings, and now further details have been confirmed.

A total of 38 of the 48 units would be built on the site which already has outline planning permission, while the other 10 are in a separate application for an extra 56,000sq ft of land.

In the planning application, agent DPP Planning said: "The development proposals represent a high-quality development – providing modern, purpose-built units aimed at satisfying the growing requirement of small and medium-sized enterprises in the local area.

"Overall, the proposed development will deliver a sustainable form if development whilst delivering economic benefits to the local area and according with all relevant development plan policies."

If approved, the land would include 177 parking spaces, with access off Winnington Avenue.
