POLICE have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted burglary after reports of door handles having been tried in Rainhill.
Officers arrested a 34-year-old man on Monday night (September 28) following reports of an attempted burglary in the village.
Shortly before 10pm officers had attended the area around Deepdale Drive in Rainhill following reports of a man trying door handles in the locality.

Officers detained a suspect on Warrington Road.
A 34-year-old man, from Northwood, was arrested in connection with the alleged attempted burglary.
He was later taken into custody as part of the investigation.
