POLICE have given an update on their investigation after buckets of cannabis and drugs paraphernalia were seized.

Officers carried out a drugs warrant around 9am on Sunday, September 27), during which items were seized including suspected cannabis and other paraphernalia.

A 38-year-old man from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis and taken into custody.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said the man has since been released under investigation.
