Police recovered the stolen TV (inset)
POLICE recovered a stolen Smart television after a foot pursuit of two suspects in Whiston.
Officers patrolling Whiston area on Saturday evening shortly after 8pm pursued two suspects, both men, running across Windy Arbour Road near to Halsnead Park.
Officers searched the area and found the stolen television hidden within the grounds.

Further enquires found that the TV had been stolen during a burglary on St Nicholas Road after the offenders had broken into an outbuilding.

Police are appealing for information on the burglary.
