THE rising rate of Covid scuppered any chance of supporters being allowed in to watch Tuesday's game between Saints and Wigan.
If there is one game that is going to feel weird without that wondrous cacophony of rival fans chanting at each other, then it is this game.
Last year Saints took a magnificent 6,000 strong contingent to the DW Stadium, who sported their colours proudly outside.
This time around those fans will be spread far and wide, watching from home or in the pub or club.
At that fixture club photographer Bernard Platt captured the mood of the fans.
