Population needs to shrink

CLIMATE change is accelerating year after year. If something doesn’t change, then floods and more frequent catastrophic weather events will take place.

That issue combined with Covid-19, means we have two problems, and both must be addressed.

Our Government has made a big mistake by easing lockdown in the irresponsible way that it did. Japan made the same mistake months earlier, however our government ignored that because saving the economy was the top priority.

Market economies can only work in fair weather, and we won’t see those market conditions again within a reasonable period of time.

Therefore we must abolish the market economy and replace it with a centrally planned economy; and other countries need to do the same.

With everything belonging to the state, workers can be deployed where they are needed. It is the only viable arrangement in this pandemic.

We have exactly the wrong government for this, they want a country where the market economy is king.

Some grandparents cannot see their grandchildren, but it doesn’t have to be like that.

The pandemic needs to be managed through sensible decision making, so that more things are possible, made easier by taking the economy out of the equation.

How long will the pandemic last? Scientists have suggested that any vaccine, while giving some respite from Covid 19, is not likely to stop it returning.

Therefore I don’t see that we will be out of the pandemic until the world human population has shrunk to a fraction of what it is now. This would also solve climate change.
