A MAN has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a girl.
Stephen John Griffiths, of Woodrow Court, Great Sankey, is accused of committing offences in St Helens.
He is charged with intentionally touching a girl, aged 14, contrary to the Sexual Offences Act, on March 9, 2016.
He also faces another charge of intentionally touching a girl, aged 15, between April 7 and April 9, 2017.
Griffiths, 39, is also charged with causing a 15-year-old child to look at an image of a person engaging in sexual activity between March 9, 2017 and March 10, 2018 and with sexual communication with a child between the same dates.
Griffiths is also charged with making a threatening phone call to obstruct an investigation on June 15, 2019.

Griffiths pleaded not guilty to all charges at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
The case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court for trial.
Griffiths was given unconditional bail and will next appear at the Crown Court on Wednesday, September 30.
