WELL that is one question solved!

Last week we published this picture of a group of Saints supporters at the Championship Final that captured the mood of a glorious year of 1966.

"Saints for the double!" declared the banner, this coming a week after beating Wigan 21-2 in the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley.

Saints went on to beat Halifax to complete a haul of four trophies for that year.

But we asked readers to identify the camera shy Saints supporter 30,000 crowd at Swinton's Station Road.

Within an hour the young lad at the front identified his dad covering his face....but the story is better than that as that eventful year inspired that youngster to go on and play for Saints....

We will give you the answer and carry the full story and interview online on Sunday.
