POLICE arrested four people on suspicion of dealing Class B drugs in Prescot after they stopped and searched a 16-year-old boy.

Officers conducted a stop check of a 16-year-old boy in Prescot on Wednesday, September 16 before attending an address and finding cash, weapons and more drugs.

Police found a small amount of cannabis and a mobile phone during the stop check of the teenage suspect.

Following this, officers then went to an address on Wilson Road, Prescot and searched a property.

A number of weapons, further drugs and a substantial amount of cash were found at the address.

Police say the whole household was arrested on suspicion of dealing Class B drugs.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of cannabis possession, handling stolen goods and being concerned in the supply of class B drugs

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old man, a 41-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.

All four suspects have been subsequently released under investigation while further enquiries are made.
