FOOTBALL fans are being offered the chance to watch Liverpool's Premier League clash at Chelsea on Sunday in the presence of former Reds goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar.

The former 'keeper will be at the Gerard Arms pub on Dentons Green Lane on Sunday afternoon, along with a replica of the European Cup.

People can book a spot and make a £5 donation to Macmillan to see the game in pub's function room with the ex-goalkeeper.

Zimbabwean Grobbelaar spent 14 years at Liverpool between 1981 and 1994 winning six league titles, three FA Cups, three League Cups and a European Cup in his time at the club.

Making an announcement on its social media pages, the Gerard Arms said: "This Sunday we will be joined by the legend himself, Bruce Grobberlaar, for the Chelsea Liverpool game.

"For just a £5 donation to Macmillan you can watch the game in the presence of the great man on one of the tables in our function room, and we will also have a replica European Cup that we will be bringing round to your tables too for photos.

"Remember maximum tables of six of course, and you must be seated at all times.

Bruce Grobbelaar helped launch the Ashtons Estate Agency's premises on Kiln Lane, Eccleston last year.
