Investigation underway after man suffers lacerations to his face in assault
A 52-YEAR-OLD man has suffered lacerations to his face in an assault in St Helens.
Police were called at 2.10am on Thursday, September 10, following reports a man being assaulted on Hewitt Avenue, Old Eccleston.
The man was treated by paramedics for lacerations to his face.
An investigation is underway and enquiries are being carried out in the local area.
