PLANS have been draw up seeking to convert a former florists into a cafe.

Proposals have been submitted seeking permission for a change of use of the former Donna's Florist premises on Marshalls Cross Road.

A planning application has been received by the council which seeks to convert the premises at 63 Marshall Cross Road.

The application states "the development is located next to an existing car wash, therefore the current background noise will not be affected by the cafe operation".

It adds "the cafe is of a small scale, therefore should have little to no impact on the surrounding area".

Proposed opening hours for the premises are 9am to midnight each day.

The planning application is on public consultation until Wednesday, September 30.

A determination deadline on the plans has been set for October 28.
