SAINTS teenage scrum half Lewis Dodd has been denied his debut today at Headingley.
He was due to replace Theo Fages who pulled out late with a knee injury.
However, it was revealed that he had been in contact with someone who has tested positive with Covid and had to be pulled out today and must self-isolate for 14 days.
Coach Kristian Woolf explained: "There has been a bit of disruption late in week.
"Theo pulled up sore in training and Lewis Dodd was going to make his debut.
"He had a late call last night and unfortunately he has had ciontact with someone with covid, and he has to self isolate for 14 days.
"The team are really disappointed for lewis. We are looking forward to see him play.
"He will get his opportunity in coming weeks."
