THIS week's disciplinary report will impact on two of Saints' opponents this month.

Morgan Smithies of Wigan Warriors, who was issued with a two-match penalty notice after the meeting of the RFL Match Review Panel on a Grade C charge of headbutting in Saturday’s Betfred Super League fixture against Castleford Tigers, has now had a further suspension.

Smithies pleaded guilty to a Grade D charge of Dangerous Contact with Castleford Tigers’ James Clare, and received a further four game ban and £500 fine.

That is a six-game ban that will rule him out of the clash against Saints on September 30.

Suaia Matagi of Huddersfield Giants has been issued with a two-match penalty notice on a Grade C charge of dangerous contact in the 58th minute of Sunday’s Betfred Super League fixture against Hull FC.

Joe Cator of Hull FC has been issued with a one-match penalty notice on a Grade B charge of dangerous contact in the 45th minute of the same fixture.

Meanwhile Saints hooker Aaron Smith was issued with a caution for dangerous contact on opposite Hull KR number Matt Parcell.
