He has pleaded not guilty
A MAN has denied assaulting a woman in St Helens.
Shane West, of Georgian Court, Leigh, pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault by beating of a woman at Merseyside Magistrates’ Court.
West, 29, is accused of assaulting the woman in St Helens on April 22 this year.

The 29-year-old has been granted conditional bail until his next scheduled court hearing.
West will next appear for trial at Sefton Magistrates’ Court on October 1.
