A WOMAN in her 60s has been taken to hospital after her car crashed into an embankment.
The incident happened on Norley Road, between Frodsham and Cuddington, shortly after midday today (August 11).
Firefighters from Frodsham and Northwich attended the scene and helped stabilise the car so paramedics could assess the driver.
A North West Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed that the woman, who was in her 60s, did not sustain any significant injuries.
She has been taken to Leighton Hospital in Crewe.
Frodsham Fire Station posted on Facebook: "Frodsham’s crew working with Northwich Fire Station stabilised the vehicle so that paramedics could assess the driver."
