A 15-YEAR-OLD boy was arrested after fights involving hammers, a bottle and a knife in Canford Cliffs.
Police were called to Cliff Drive at 10.15pm on Friday to reports of an assault outside the park.
Officers were told a 16-year-old boy had been hit with a glass bottle. He was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury. No arrests have been made.
A subsequent report was received of a fight in the area involving the possible use of hammers and a knife. A hammer and knife were located nearby.
A 15-year-old boy from Bournemouth was arrested. He is due to appear at Poole Youth Court on Tuesday September 1 charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
