A MAN has been charged with harassment in connection with a domestic disturbance which saw emergency services called to a property.

Officers were called to an address on Telford Drive, Sutton at around 9.15am on Tuesday, July 28, with ambulance and air ambulance also called to the scene.

Police say they found a 24-year-old man with "slight injuries to his neck" on arrival at the property.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment by ambulance and was later in the day arrested on suspicion of harassment in connection with the disturbance.

He was taken to custody.

Liam Hill, 24, of Mill Lane, Sutton Leach has since been charged with harassment without violence.
He will appear at Merseyside Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, July 30.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said after the disturbance: "One man was arrested in St Helens yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, July 28), following an incident in Sutton.

"Officers were called what was thought to be a domestic related disturbance at an address in Telford Drive at around 9.15am.

"On arrival they found a 24-year-old local man with slight injuries to his neck – he was treated in hospital and later arrested on suspicion of harassment."

A North West Ambulance spokeswoman confirmed they attended the scene on Tuesday and that they took a patient to hospital.
