THREE friends from Bridgewater High School have completed a mammoth running challenge after deciding to fundraise for charity.
Arron Lindop, Leyton Holden and Lewis Nolan, all aged 14, decided to run one mile every hour for 24 hours.
Inspired by Warrington Wolves star Sitaleki Akauola, the boys decided to take on the challenge and raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The boys started at 12pm on Thursday and ran on the hour along various routes around Chester Road.
Their last mile was at 11am the following day with all three friends keeping themselves free from injury.
Arron, Leyton and Lewis were in good spirits throughout the night and have received messages of congratulations from Warrington Wolves players who have completed a similar challenge and understand how difficult it is to do.
They have raised more than £1,300 so far and you can donate to their campaign here www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Julie-Davies80
