A FORMER criminal investigator has turned her passion for cooking into a takeaway service with a difference.

Angela Berry, from Westbrook, has launched SHARE Luxury Platters using fresh produce and plastic-free packaging.

The artisan luxury sharing platters are made with produce from local suppliers such as Holly's Farm and Snoutwood Trotters and all packaging is biodegradable.

There is a choice of British, Mediterranean, vegetarian and Fusion platters in addition to an indulgent dessert selection.

Angela, aged 55, said: "I used to be a criminal investigator but have always had a passion for cooking.

"I got breast cancer in 2017 and oddly as it seems to say, getting it saved my life as I was diagnosed with a life-threatening heart condition during the pre op.

"Therefore, I had open heart surgery after the treatment for cancer so I consider myself extremely lucky to be alive.

"I then re-evaluated my life and decided to take early retirement which involved 18 months off with lots of travelling.

"I then decided to create my own business doing what I love - feeding people.

"Having always had a passion for food and cooking, I love nothing more than gathering friends and family around my kitchen table to share lots of good food, wine and funny stories."

Each platter is beautifully wrapped and includes personal tag which makes the platters ideal gifts to send to loved ones.
