A MISSING pensioner has been found safe and well, police said tonight.
Bernard Cragg, 72, was last seen at 4am this morning at his home address in Melville Close, Eccleston.
Police had been searching to trace him today and said he was known to visit Eccleston, Taylor Park, Rainford, Carr Mill Dam, Alexandra Drive, and Dream.
Extensive enquiries had been taking place to find him and shortly after 7pm a police statement read: "GOOD NEWS Missing Eccleston man Bernard Cragg has now been found safe and well.
"Thanks for sharing far and wide, it makes a big difference."
