STUDENT nurses from Cowley International College have been working hard on the NHS frontline during the coronavirus pandemic to support our community.
Year 13 Nurse Cadets have been working on COVID wards, looking after patients with the virus and ensuring they get the best care possible and been busy providing support in other hospital departments, protecting patients from contracting the virus and providing the necessary care they require.
As well as that, some of our students have been helping to make PPE equipment to ensure the local hospitals can meet their requirements, while we have had students caring for some of the most vulnerable people in the local community by getting their shopping and prescriptions to ensure their vital needs are met.
A spokesman for the school said: "We are incredibly proud of the important work they are doing during this difficult time.
"These phenomenal students have been a part of our popular Nurse Cadetship Sixth Form course."
