A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after reports that she fell from a window.
Officers were called to a block of flats at Liverpool Road, St Helens on Tuesday (June 30) following reports of concern for safety of a woman.
The woman was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment to injuries believed to have been sustained after falling from a window, police say.
Investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
An air ambulance and paramedics were called to the incident at the flats at around 12.10pm, at the junction of Liverpool Road and Glover Street.
The flats are opposite the retail park, where Aldi, Superbowl, Costa Coffee Drive-Thru and Frankie and Benny's are based.
A spokesperson for NWAS confirmed a person was taken to hospital in the land ambulance.

A large police presence was at the scene, with officers interviewing people outside the flats.
The area surrounding the flats was cordoned off while an investigation took place.
