A 30-YEAR-OLD man from Prescot has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting at a McDonalds Drive-thru.

A police investigation was launched after a man was shot as he sat in his car outside the McDonald’s restaurant in Welton Road on the Croft Retail Park, Bromborough, on the evening of Thursday, June 18.

A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with a leg injury. His condition is described as stable.

Four arrests were made on Saturday, June 20 and David Pugh, of Woolfall Crescent, Huyton was charged the next day with attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

He appeared in Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on Monday and has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on July 20.

Now two other men, including James Nolan, 30 of Thomas Drive, Prescot have been remanded in custody after being charged with attempted murder

 They appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on June 27.
