PUBS and restaurants in and around St Helens are busy planning how to reopen ahead of the big day on July 4.
Here's what some of them are telling their followers on social media:
Eccleston Arms
Andrew Mikhail, owner of The Eccleston Arms, says of the re-opening: “We are more than excited to welcome our customers back again but we are aware that this needs to be done in a safe way, ensuring that government guidelines are followed.
"My team have worked very hard behind the scenes to get ready for this and I am confident that those visiting us will a great experience.’
"We do understand that not everyone will be able to join us from Saturday, as a large number of people are still shielding and are still uneasy with going out of their home for this reason, together with The Steve Prescott Foundation, we have decided to continue our popular ‘Drive In’ service.
"The volunteers from The SPF will deliver delicious restaurant quality meals, 7 days a week, to those unable to leave their homes.
"This also allows us continue our support of the charity that has supported so many during these unprecedented times”

Cinema Bar
In a statement Cinema Bar said: "Cinema bar is re-opening on Saturday, July 4. We cannot wait to have you all back and catch up with everyone.
"We understand it will not be quite the same as usual, but we will do our absolute best to ensure things run as smooth as possible.
"Keeping us and the public safe is priority during this process."
Cork & Dough, Ormskirk Street, St Helens
A Cork & Dough spoksperson said: "We have some great news 🙌🏼 From Saturday 4th July we will be taking table bookings! These tables must have a £20 deposit paid prior and will be taken off your bill.
"We ask that tables booked are from the same house hold or same bubble.
Maximum people per table is 8 people and all tables are situated in the wine bar.
Our tables will be for 2 hours.
"Please arrive on time for booking. We have a one way in and one way out system. On arrival please use IMPERIAL BAR AND TERRACE front door. (If you require a table for more than 2 hours drinks packages are available)"
The Golden Lion, Rainford

Toast Cafe, Dentons Green
In a statement the Toast team said: "An exciting week lies ahead as we get our cafe ready for re-opening on the 4th July.
"In this time, we are preparing everything for our lovely customers to have a safe but really enjoyable experience, whenever they feel they are ready to return.
"As the government guidelines gain clarity, we are working hard to put together the best plan for Toast to re-open. Whilst things will not be able to return to the way they were, with a little help (and patience) from our customers, we can enjoy the new normal.
"From Monday, we will be releasing details of how things will run, beginning with BOOKINGS.
