A man has been charged with GBH
A MAN charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a woman has appeared in court.
Liam Connolly, 20, of Lawping Close, Newton-le-Willows appeared at Merseyside Magistrates' Court charged with GBH with intent.
He is accused of committing the assault on June 2, 2019 at a property in Newton-le-Willows.
He is also accused of causing damage to a double-glazed window.
Magistrates sent the case to Liverpool Crown Court.
Connolly is scheduled to next appear at the crown court on Monday, July 20.
He has been granted unconditional bail.
