A MAN and a woman have been charged and appeared in court following a number of burglaries in St Helens.
Aidan Kay, 26, of Green Leach Court, Haresfinch has been charged with two counts of burglary, theft from a motor vehicle, five counts of attempted theft of a motor vehicle and fraud.

Leanna Gilbart, 31, of Albion Street, St Helens has been charged with burglary, attempted theft of a motor vehicle, handling stolen goods and fraud.
Police confirmed the charges in a statement released today.
The pair appeared at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Thursday, June 18.
Kay was remanded in custody and Gilbart has been given conditional bail to appear on Thursday, July 16.
