FIREFIGHTERS were called to a business park to put out a blaze involving rubbish and grass.
Crews were called to a fire at Alexandra Park, on Prescot Road on Thursday afternoon (June 4).
A fire and rescue service spokesman said: "Crews were alerted at 4.14pm and on scene at 4.22pm.
"Two fire engines were in attendance to a fire involving some rubbish and grass in the open.
"The fire was extinguished with a hose reel jet. Crews were on scene until 4.33pm."
