AN APPLICATION seeking a certificate of lawfulness to use a property as a children's care home has been withdrawn.
Plans were submitted seeking permission for the use of the property at 29 Cavan Drive, Haydock.
The application stated: "The proposed use of this four-bedroom property is as a children's home for a maximum of two children of either gender with learning disability between the ages of seven and 17.
"This operation will be 24/7 with the expectation that this will operate in a similar way to a normal residential dwelling. No building work is currently planed and no machinery is intended to be installed".
The applicant has withdrawn the plans. It is understood a fresh revised application is to be submitted.
