Coronavirus cases in St Helens reach almost 330
THE number of people to have tested positive for coronavirus in St Helens has reached 329.
That is up from 306 yesterday, Thursday.
Meanwhile in Knowsley, the number of confirmed cases is 245, up from 227.
Many more people will have the virus but are at home or have recovered.
A total of 8,958 people in the UK have died as a result of Covid-19, an increase of 980 since yesterday.
