A LARGE quad-bike and three off-road motorbikes "scattered" at the sight of police.
Officers from the Leeds District Off-Road Bike Team were patrolling Calverley Woods and the Bunny Fields, both just behind Crowther Avenue, yesterday.
They had received reports recently of "nuisance vehicles" in those areas.
Police saw a large quad-bike and three off-road motorbikes entering the Bunny Fields at around 3pm.
A police spokesperson said: "On seeing officers the vehicles/riders scattered, failing to stop for police.
"Regular patrols will continue to take place in the area."
