JOHNNY Vegas is sporting a new hair style - after ex-Saints captain Paul Sculthorpe shaved off the comedian's locks at a safe distance in front of the television cameras.
With barbers and hairdressers shut during the lockdown restrictions it's left many of us wondering how we'll get a trim.
Some less than impressive "DIY attempts" with dubbers at home have already been posted online, sparking plenty of laughs.
Speaking to Steph before his locks are shorn off
Johnny Vegas was among those who have decided it was time for a hair cut and he came up with a novel way of doing so...in front of live TV cameras on Channel 4's The Steph Show.
Step forward Saints legend Paul Sculthorpe to do the honours at the Eccleston Arms Hotel on Prescot Road, St Helens, from where Johnny, the Steve Prescott Foundation and a team of helpers have been sending out essential items and meals to people who are isolating.
The head shave played out on the show, presented by Steph McGovern, this afternoon, with Scully - who is a Star columinst - moving in with the dubbers, which were attached to a two-metre pole to ensure social distancing.
Off it goes...dubbers attached to a pole do the job
The former Great Britain rugby league skipper, who has faced off against Johnny in various charity challenges down the years, appeared to be enjoying himself as he tackled the funnyman's mop.
Johnny, on the other hand, could be heard shouting "this wasn't the plan" as Sculthorpe took the dubbers to the middle of his model's hair do before moving on to the sides.
We await to see the finished look.
Scully looks like he's enjoying himself
We hope Scully finished this off...
The head shave is raising money for the Steve Prescott Foundation.
