THERE has been one further coronavirus death reported in Bradford.

Public Health England's latest update today showed that one person, who had tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, had died at Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI), as of 5pm on Friday, April 3.

The death was on Thursday, April 2.

There were no further deaths reported at Airedale Hospital in today's update.

It takes the total deaths from coronavirus in the Bradford district to 28 - 17 at BRI and 11 at Airedale.

There were 73 reported deaths in the North East and Yorkshire in total.

Public Health England also announced that a further 637 people in England, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19), have died.

It brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in the country to 3,939.

Patients were aged between five-years and 104-years-old.

Most had underlying conditions, but 40 of the 637 patients (aged between 48 and 93-years-old) did not.

Their families have been informed.
