POLICE have arrested two teenagers on suspicion of drug dealing after cannabis was discarded in a garden in Prescot.
Officers on patrol arrested a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man following reports of suspects running from the area of Hughes Avenue, Prescot.
Officers detained the two suspects on Molyneux Drive shortly after 5.40pm on Thursday, April 2 following the recovery of cannabis which had been discarded in a nearby garden.

Two separate properties on South Avenue and Kemble Street in Prescot were searched as part of the investigation which is ongoing.
Police say the 18-year-old suspect was already wanted in relation to a separate alleged drugs offence on November 27, 2019.
This relates to a quantity of cannabis being recovered by officers from a property on South Avenue, Prescot.
