POLICE have charged a man with offences including affray and threatening a person with a bladed article in relation to an alleged incident this week.
Officers were called on Monday, March 23 to an incident involving alleged threats and criminal damage to a motor vehicle.
They arrested a suspect at the scene.
Police have since charged a 27-year-old man with multiple offences in connection with the incident.
Adam Pendlebury, of Bruce Street, Newtown has been charged with affray, criminal damage, threatening a person with a bladed article and possession of a controlled drug.
He is due to next appear in court on April 21.
