A West Bay resident has celebrated her 100th birthday with friends and family.
Pat Blackmore, a resident at Harbour House care home, marked the milestone birthday on March 17.
Due to the threat of coronavirus, her family all gathered outside the home and celebrated through the windows and sliding doors, enjoying Prosecco, cake and seeing Pat’s birthday card from the Queen.
Anna Knight, registered manager at the home, said: “It was a lovely afternoon and a chance to forget the troubled times.
“Pat was tearful and overwhelmed, especially when we sand, ‘For she’s a Jolly Good Fellow’.”
