The majority of shops have closed in Bridport after the Prime Minister’s latest announcement on Monday.
Only shops selling essential items should remain open, with all others closed or offering online services.
Animal House pet shop in Bridport remains open for the time being.
Ryan Farnham of the shop said: “We are staying open this week, from 10am to 4pm, and we are still doing delivery in Bridport and the surrounding areas.
“We will re-evaluate things on Friday as Government measures are still changing.
“If no one is around it is hard to stay open, but we will still do deliveries.”
Bridport Yarn has since had to close its doors, but it is offering free delivery after owner Rosie Shelton saw a need for knitting.
She said: “People want to have something to do while they are isolated. I am offering free delivery, free postage and a free pattern with the wool.
“I am also doing videos around the shop and people choose their yarn that way. I am working very much in a different way.”
