IT'S not every day you see a cross-dressing Roman soldier singing along to Freddie Mercury while vacuuming their front room.

But then these are unprecedented times.

And to keep active, Robert Foulkes created this video that has had the added benefit of raising a few smiles for other people following the Government's advice to stay at home during he coronavirus crisis.

Robert as a Roman soldier

The 40-year-old, who works for the Dewa Roman Experience in Chester, explained: "I was just trying to keep myself busy during this time of self isolation and decided to do a little house work. For some reason I decided to post a video of myself vacuuming whilst catching a ball to show that men can indeed multi-task and then a friend suggested that I do it with the Queen song playing.

"Well I decided to take it one step further and put on some of my wife's clothes ( she's still going into work) and a wig from Halloween and, hey-presto!

"I think it could be a great way for people to keep their minds off things a little, so I'm issuing the #iwanttobreakfree challenge to everyone!

"It would be brilliant to see other people having a go at this. They'll probably be much better than my attempt.

Like many people, Robert, who lives on Sealand Road in the city, has had to put a lot of things on hold.

He added: "I was also due to take part in an ultra white collar boxing event which was to go ahead on April 5th, so I am trying my best to find ways of staying active."
