ST HELENS Council has warned motorists of an upcoming road closure due to resurfacing works which start tomorrow (Thursday, March 12).
Works will start on Gorsey Lane between Wheatacre Farm and the boundary with Warrington.
The council says works will last for around five days, with that part of the road to be closed to through traffic.
However, the road will be open this Saturday and Sunday.

St Helens Council said: "Resurfacing work on Gorsey Lane will start on Thursday, March 12 for around five days.
Gorsey Lane, between Wheatacre Farm and Warrington boundary, will be closed to through traffic, with the road being open on Saturday and Sunday".
