A CARE home resident celebrated her 100th birthday with food, drink and song.

Annie Lancaster was born in Omagh, Northern Ireland, where she was one of eleven children.

Annie and her family moved to Bundoran where Annie met husband Charlie during the Second World War.

The couple were married for 70 years before he passed away.

Annie, who has three children, John, Hugh and Pat, enjoyed caravan holidays in the UK and visiting Ireland. She has five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Now living at Upton Dene care home in Chester, Annie enjoyed a big party thrown for her. There was a singer, and lots of food and drink, and the other residents joined her to mark her big day.
