TWO teenagers have been arrested after a 16-year-old girl was assaulted in New Look today.
Officers were called to New Look on Church Street just before 12.30pm today, Monday, March 2, where it was reported a 16-year-old girl had been assaulted.
The victim has been taken to hospital for assessment.
A 16-year-old boy from Rainhill and a 16-year-old girl from St Helens have been arrested on suspicion of Section 47 assault.
They have been taken into custody for interview.
The store is currently shut with a sign on the door saying it is closed "due to unforeseen circumstances".
