AS we look forward to the 10th annual St Helens 10k on Sunday, we look back at a selection of pictures from the first 10k in 2011.
The first St Helens 10k started in Birchley Street car park and was the idea of the late Steve Prescott.
He started the event, shown in these pictures here.
Since then his wife Linzi and eldest son Taylor have also taken part in the event in his memory.
The St Helens 10k has now become a highlight of the St Helens calendar, bringing runners - professional, amateur and charity - together.
